Sterling Silver: 

Sterling Silver is a durable, timeless metal perfect for jewellery pieces. When cared for properly it can last a lifetime. On genuine sterling silver jewellery, you can find the hallmark 925. You will find this on all K.Hands Designs pieces. 

Sterling silver care:

To prevent tarnish on your sterling silver piece, it is recommended to refrain from wearing when carrying out household and outdoor activities, showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs, hot springs and the ocean, using lotion, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics when wearing the jewellery and while exercising at the gym / doing other sports.

We recommend that you store your fine jewellery in a safe, dry place and clean your silver piece regularly using a silver polishing cloth. 

Gold Plating

Gold plated jewellery is popular alternative to solid gold jewellery because it has unsurpassable value while giving the look and feel of solid gold. At K:.Hands, our gold plating is achieved when gold is laid over the top of a sterling silver base. With the right care, it provides long-lasting colour and shine.

We recommend that you store your fine jewellery in a safe, dry place. If you want to clean your Gold Plated piece use a small amount of dish soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a micro fibre cloth.
